Jennifer Aniston took a bite out of the Big Apple for the New York premiere of her new film “Derailed.”
And as she hit the red carpet solo, if she looked any better, they might have just given her a key to the city.
Glittering in gold Chanel, Jen was overwhelmed by the chaotic media frenzy as she made her way down the carpet flanked by her publicist and “Derailed” executive producer Harvey Weinstein.
“This is amazing,” Jen told Access Hollywood. “This is my home. I grew up here, so I'm so happy to be here!”
Meanwhile, Jen's co-star Clive Owen's arrival was much more sedate.
“I'm a lucky boy. A very lucky boy,” he smiled.
Clive was smiling because of his and Jen's powerful on-screen love making scene. Prior to the premiere, Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell sat down with Jen for a very candid conversation.
“That hotel scene that you guys had was a little hot,” Nancy said. “A lot hot!”
“Just doing my job,” Jen laughed. “All in a day's work.”
In the sexy new thriller, temptation leads to infidelity, which leads to danger – certainly a far cry from Aniston's usual comedic roles.
“I think I was ready. I had a little fear but I got over that real quick,” she said of taking on the dramatic role.
Nancy noted that the film has a strong message about infidelity. But what does Jennifer interpret that message to be?
“Think twice. Don't do it,” she explained. “I think it's pretty obvious you go through something like this, you make one bad mistake and it's instant karma. I think it makes everybody rethink succumbing to some sort of temptation.”
“Derailed” opens nationwide on November 11.
