The honeymoon is over as newlyweds Ashton and Demi take Las Vegas!

Fresh off their Spanish honeymoon, Ashton hit Sin City with a new shorter 'do and shades with a beaming Demi by his side.

And while they said “no” to any questions about their marriage, they were happy to talk with Access Hollywood about the hurricane relief organization RockWorks in their first post-marriage interview.

“They go down and they can build a house a day,” Demi told us about RockWorks. “So the idea is to be able to come together with the people of the communities and work together to rebuild and rebuild very quickly.”

“So with those two things, it gives them houses and it gives them jobs,” Ashton added.

Married for just three weeks, the happy couple made their first public appearance in Las Vegas at the uBid.com charity auction at the Empire Ballroom to benefit RockWorks and other organizations.

All told, the event raised $370,000 for hurricane survivors.

“What's gonna happen here tonight in Vegas is not gonna stay in Vegas,” Ashton said. “It's going down south to help the people.”

Mississippi native Lance Bass was joined by Macaulay Culkin, Jessica Biel and James Van Der Beek, who was actually at the couple's wedding and said it was an amazing time for all.

“There was a lot of love in that room,” James said of the private ceremony.

Even Ashton's ex and “Just Married” co-star Brittany Murphy offered warm and classy wishes. While she wasn't at the wedding, she was thrilled to see the couple come out for a good cause.

“They both look so happy and it's such a pleasure to see two people that are appropriate witnesses, in my humble opinion, for each other's lives,” Brittany told us.
