Businessman and songwriter Tim Blixseth has played a big part in Make a Difference Today project on Humanity Plaza. He has created a special song called "Heart of America." Blixseth tells just how the song came about.

"It came about at 3:09 A.M. when I woke up from fast sleep and the song was in my head," he says. "And I don't know where it came from, but it was there. And I called Eric Benet at 5 AM. I said,`Wake up. You have to listen to this.' It started. And it was just--it came out of a dream actually."

And there are a lot of other big names that are taking part this effort with the song. Blixseth says, "The song was done. I went back to Michael McDonald, who's a dear friend, and Wynonna Judd, Eric Benet, and then I said, `You have to do this.' And they had all the reasons not to do it, but they did it and it turned out really to be a great heart."

And on the 'Today" show, Tim Blixseth and his wife, Edra, announced they were donating $2 million to build houses for hurricane victims, and invited others around the country to participate, as well.

"We've been blessed in this country and in our lives to have more than our neighbors have sometimes, and I think you have to give some back," says Blixseth.
