NEW YORK - She’s got a killer body, but that’s not stopping Jessica Simpson from reaching out to women who have a little more here and there.

Simpson’s come out with a new plus-size jean line for women. They’re sold at Avenue stores. A spokeswoman says Simpson wants to reach out to all her fans, not just the skinny ones. She adds “Jessica recognizes that she has a very broad fan base” that includes “girls from 90 pounds all the way up to 300 pounds.”

The spokeswoman says Simpson was very much hands on in creating the denim line. She says the concept was Simpson’s — as were some of the designs.
