Tom Cruise has introduced his former sweetie to her replacement.

The star, in Madrid promoting “War of the Worlds,” introduced Katie Holmes to Penelope Cruz. And the location of the happy get-together was none other than a Scientology center, according to various overseas reports.

“The Spanish bombshell, who has maintained a close friendship with Tom, went along to greet him and his new partner at the Scientology church in the heart of the capital,” according to Hello! which also claims that the three, and Cruz’s parents and sister, all went out to dinner afterwards at the elegant Casa Lucio restaurant.

According to another report, Cruise was “all over” Holmes again that evening.

Speaking of Cruise’s ex-sweeties — is Nicole Kidman rewriting her romantic history?

While promoting “Bewitched,” Kidman told a reporter that, unlike the character she plays in the flick, she has never believed in love at first sight.

“I don’t believe you glance around a room, see someone and say that is going to be your future great love,” Kidman said. “I’ve always been painfully shy and guarded so that could never work for me. I need to know the person first. I need to be drawn out and need to draw him out.”

Her statement puzzled fans with a long memory, who recall her description of swooning over Cruise on first sight. “The moment I laid eyes on Tom I just thought he was the sexiest man I’d ever seen in my life,” Kidman told an interviewer in 1998, when she was still married to Cruise. “I was sort of like, ‘Whoa, this is dangerous!’. . . . Oh, God, Tom will kill me for saying this. We went to the movies and he was wearing a T -shirt and I took one look at his arms and I couldn’t watch the movie. I mean, he had such great biceps. It was really the biceps that won me over. I was a goner after that.”
