“Lois & Clark: The Complete First Season,” “Wonder Woman: The Complete Third Season” — With “Batman Begins” hitting the big screen, a couple of TV superheroes rise again. Year one of Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher’s “Superman” series “Lois & Clark” comes in a six-disc set with the first 21 episodes. The final season of Lynda Carter’s “Wonder Woman” is packed on four discs with 24 episodes. “Lois & Clark” DVD set, $59.98; “Wonder Woman” DVD set, $39.98. (Warner Bros.)

“Wanted: Dead or Alive — Season One” — A banner year for Steve McQueen DVD releases continues with this four-disc set that has the first 36 episodes of the Western series that put him on the road to stardom in the late 1950s. McQueen plays a charitable bounty hunter tracking bad guys. DVD set, $39.98. (New Line)

“Davey and Goliath: Volume 1” — The boy made out of clay and his dubious dog are back to spread the lessons they learn about right and wrong in the stop-motion animation series that debuted in the 1960s. The two-disc set has four episodes, plus Davey and Goliath’s “summer camp” special and a documentary on the show. DVD set, $19.99. (Starlight)

“Seed of Chucky” — The “Child’s Play” horror franchise is resurrected as the killer doll goes on a bloody spree in Hollywood. The movie is available in the R-rated theatrical version or an unrated extended cut. Director Don Mancini and co-star Jennifer Tilly provide commentary for the theatrical cut, while Mancini offers commentary on the unrated version. DVD, $29.98. (Universal) Original theatrical review

“Beyond the Sea” — Kevin Spacey sings and swings in this film biography of pop crooner Bobby Darin (“Splish Splash,” “Mack the Knife”), whose short life brought him stardom on stage and screen. Spacey, who directed and co-wrote, offers audio commentary, and the DVD has interviews with cast and crew. DVD, $27.98. (Lions Gate) Original theatrical review

“The Machinist” — Before catching the bulked-up Christian Bale in the title role of “Batman Begins,” check out the actor in starvation mode. Bale lost 63 pounds for his role as a man who has gone a year without sleep and is in the delusional throes of physical and emotional trauma. DVD, $29.99. (Paramount)
