Pretty soon, people around the world may be able to see Paris’ underpants.

Paris Hilton and her lesser-photographed sister, Nicky, are in negotiations to become the “faces” of Antz Pantz — a line of lingerie.

Antz Pantz is currently available in Australia and New Zealand — though one insider says that this is “probably” a sign that the company wants to expand. The company is known for its outrageous ad campaigns, and a source says that if the Hilton sisters are signed up, there will be “more outrageousness.”

Paris Hilton’s rep didn’t have any comment, but as a report in the Melbourne Herald Sun put it, the deal would give the flesh-flashing Paris Hilton a chance to prove to skeptics that she “does wear knickers after all.”

No wonder Robert Downey Jr. seemed a tad out of it when he presented an award to Elton John.

The “Gothika” star created a stir at the 27th annual Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday when he referred to John as a “first lady” — and the AP called his speech “rambling.”

Looks like Downey was a victim of some partying the night before. A source says that Downey and some other celebs, including Kid Rock and Billy Joel, were spotted having a good time at the Mandarian Oriental hotel in Washington until the wee hours of the morning the night before. “They were certainly enjoying themselves,” chuckles a source.

Downey’s spokesman tells The Scoop that the star is traveling and unavailable for comment, and a hotel spokeswoman would say only, “they were having drinks in [the hotel’s bar] Zenbar.”

The media extravaganza that is Star Jones Reynolds’s wedding continues. The bride sent an e-mail to fans: “We are pleased to tell you that in the coming months, our wedding and all the magical details will be featured in one of our favorite magazines as well as on a primetime television show.”  . . . Orlando Bloom is becoming a Buddhist, reports the London Mirror. . . . Looks like Mary-Kate Olsen is exploring her options. The 18-year old millionaire, who has been linked to two men in recent months, was spotted canoodling with a third, model Karl Lindman, according the upcoming issue of the Star. A spokesman for the model denies that any smooching was involved — despite the report of “an enormous lip-lock.”
