Author and CNBC host Ron Insana hosts "CNBC's Market Wrap with Ron Insana," a 15-minute program that breaks down the business day and provides a look ahead to tomorrow. The segment airs on MSNBC at 4:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, at the beginning of "Lester Holt Live."

Timed to coincide with the Wall Street closing bell each day, Insana reviews the day's financial news. NBC News financial contributors Terri Cullen and Jonathan Clements will also share their financial expertise and provide viewers with information on the biggest headlines in the business world, as well as Stock Market tips.

Insana joined CNBC in 1991 and is the anchor of CNBC's "Street Signs." He is also a regular contributor on NBC's "Today" show, NBC's "Nightly News," and "Imus in the Morning." Insana was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy Award as part of NBC's 9/11 coverage and was named one of the top 100 business news journalists of the century by TJFR Group in 1999. Insana also writes for USA Today's monthly column "Talking Business with Ron Insana."

Prior to working with NBC and CNBC, Insana began his career as an FNN production assistant, and moved his way up to managing editor and chief of FNN's Los Angeles bureau. While working for FNN, he was nominated for a Golden ACE Award for his coverage of the 1987 stock market crash.

Insana graduated with honors from California State University.
