Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Calif. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Arizona Sen. John McCain are among those who will speak at the Republican National Convention, President Bush’s re-election campaign says.
New York Gov. George Pataki and Michael Bloomberg, the current mayor of New York, also will be featured.
Details of the convention schedule are to be announced on Monday.
The Republican National Convention will be held from Aug. 30-Sept. 2 at Madison Square Garden, a little more than a week before the third anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Giuliani and Pataki will be spotlighted for their actions after the terrorist strike.
