Rocker not Kidding about
Anna Nicole spat
Plus: David Bowie impaled with lollipop
Looks like E! Entertainment is defying legal threats to bring us the truth about Anna Nicole Smith and Kid Rock.
The "Anna Nicole Show" filmed footage of the rocker getting into an obscenity-laden little spat with the zaftig reality-show host while they were both at the Kentucky Derby. The F-word and middle fingers were used in the exchange.
“Kid’s people were really upset that it was all caught on film and told Anna Nicole’s people that they’d better not use it or Kid would sue their pants off,” says an insider. “Anna’s people said, ‘Too bad. It was in a public venue.’ But Kid’s people were furious and they weren’t backing off.”
The disputed exchange was broadcast over the weekend, though our insider says that “the actual sequence was edited around a bit so it’s not quite the way it all happened, but it was pretty close.”
A spokesman for E! says the network has not heard from Kid’s people and neither his spokesman nor Smith’s returned calls for comment.

The two sat next to each other at the ceremony, and the 41st president was spotted playfully nudging Clinton.
According to an insider, they were discussing Clinton’s memoirs.
“It had recently been revealed how long the book was going to be,” says a source. “So Bush was joking that it was too long, and he was only going to read the first half and his son would read the second half. And they could fill each other in.”
