Reality-TV fans have a message for Clairol: Fire Omarosa!

On heels of the news that the hair-care company is considering featuring her in commercials for Herbal Essence, Omarosa haters are bombarding the company with calls and e-mails, as well as organizing a boycott of Clairol products.

“It has been evident that this person is manipulative and deceitful, and [it] reflects poorly on the Clairol Company to employ such a despicable character,” noted a typical posting in a TV chat room. “I will no longer buy their products, and will encourage family, friends and colleagues to not purchase their products, as well.”

On Television Without Pity.com, the emotions were running high. “If the Omarosa path is one Clairol wishes to go down, there are so many other ‘love to hate’ people,” one poster wrote. “What about Hitler? Imelda Marcos? Ted Bundy? (VERY nice hair!)”

Clairol is taking the threats seriously. Helene Leslie, spokeswoman for the company, told The Scoop. “We are concerned about the proposed boycott of our products and are currently looking into the situation.”

People who need Barbra are the luckiest people. More than 400 items owned by superstar Barbra Streisand are being sold off at an auction in June.

The “Her Name is Barbra” auction will include such goodies as the infamous negligee the diva wore in “The Owl and the Pussycat” as well as the dress she wore in her TV special “My Name is Barbra.”

The auction will be held in West Hollywood and will be handled by Julien Entertainment.

Nicole Kidman was always cagey about her rumored relationship with Lenny Kravitz, but now Kravitz has written a song about it.
