BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor: One of the main arguments of the Occupy Wall Street protesters was pretty much confirmed today by numbers released by the Congressional Budget Office . It's about the top 1 percent of American society . From 1979 to '07, incomes grew by 275 percent for the 1 percent of the population with the highest incomes in this country. For the middle class, incomes grew by just under 40 percent for the same time period.
