Spears, Aguilera may kiss and make up

Look for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to kiss and make up. (Well, they’ve already kissed, actually, maybe now they’ll make up.)

The two Mousketeers-turned-pop-star-divas have been feuding lately, but Aguilera recently wrote a letter to Spears, suggesting they become friends again. A source says Britney intends to take her up on it.

“Britney’s had a tough time lately but she’s not mean-spirited,” says a source who has worked with her. “She sees no downside in making amends. Who knows, maybe they’ll work together”

“No comment,” Aguilera’s rep told The Scoop. Spears' rep couldn’t be reached for comment.

Has George W. Bush had a nose job?

In a bizarre political year, when democratic presidential candidate John Kerry’s alleged use of Botox has made headlines, some are saying it looks like the president has had some work on his schnoz.

“His new nose looks very obvious,” notes AwfulPlasticSurgery.com, which usually chronicles the alleged nips and tucks of celebs such as Melanie Griffith and Marie Osmond. “It has that ‘plastic surgery’ look.”

One Weblog, under the tongue-in-cheek headline: “Sleuths Now Sniffing: Nose Job for Pres Bush”? is running photos of the president's nose labeled "before" and "after."

The White House didn’t return calls for comment.

Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of The Christ” isn’t getting all divine reviews. “It is, without a doubt, one of the most violent films ever made — two hours and six minutes of unremitting, relentlessly graphic brutality,” wrote John Hiscock of the London Mirror, who went on to call the controversial flick “a sickening bloodbath and, in my opinion, suitable viewing only for sadists.” . . .
