well, the couple had come from dubai. they were already in
yemen
for two days and were in the mountains west of
yemen
and they were kidnapped during that mountain visit. now the
u.s. embassy
tells nbc they're working through the night monitoring developments on the negotiations to try to gain the release of the u.s. couple. night has already fallen and the yemeni government continues to negotiate with leaders of the tribe that has kidnapped the couple along with their driver and translator.
