FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines says it has expanded use of mobile boarding passes on mobile phones and PDAs to 19 more airports.
The airline said Thursday that passengers on domestic flights at those airports can now board without printing out and presenting a paper pass.
The airports are in Albuquerque, N.M.; Charlotte, N.C.; Cleveland; Denver; El Paso, Texas; Houston's Intercontinental; Jacksonville, Fla.; Little Rock, Ark.; Memphis, Tenn.; New York's La Guardia; Oklahoma City; Orlando, Fla.; Phoenix; Salt Lake City; San Antonio; San Diego; San Francisco; Tulsa, Okla.; and Washington Dulles.
American started using mobile boarding passes in late 2008 and accepts them at Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Chicago's O'Hare; Dallas-Fort Worth; Los Angeles International; John Wayne in Orange County, Calif.; Las Vegas; and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
