Will Britney bare

Plus: Prada gets a plug: Joan Jett loves tattoos
Nov. 19 - Will Britney Spears bare all for Playboy? The mag is offering the curvy pop star a seven-figure fee to pose in the buff, says a source.
“Playboy is desperate to get her,” says the insider. “She’s this generation’s sex symbol.”
And, argues the source, she’s already done provocative poses for Esquire and Rolling Stone, “so why not the original girlie mag?”
Spears’ spokeswoman didn’t return calls.
When called for comment, a Playboy rep told The Scoop, “Britney is a beautiful young woman” but the magazine had no further comment.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is definitely bringing a little Hollywood to Sacramento.

“They spent taxpayers’ money to give free publicity to Prada?” fumed one political insider. “What do they think this is, a red carpet?”
Hollywood stars frequently are loaned designer clothes in exchange for publicity, but calls to the governor’s office inquiring whether that was the case here — or whether the suit was merely plucked from Schwarzenegger’s well-appointed closet — were not returned. When The Scoop called Prada, a woman in the press office said she “believes” that the fashion house arranged for Schwarzenegger to wear the suit, but said she could not provide further info.
Notes from all over
Michael Moore was greeted by cheering crowds in Germany where he told one audience “What Bush is doing now is similar to what Hitler was doing in his early days,” according to Deutsche Presse-Agentur. Meanwhile, the German mag Der Spiegel blasted Moore’s latest book, “Dude, Where’s My Country?” as incoherent and rambling and “little more than a redundant rehash of his overly familiar superficial view of the world and his overly inflated opinion of himself” but went on to say that “anti-American sentiment is running so high in Germany right now that the book cannot help but zoom right to the top of the best- seller list.” . . . Kelsey Grammer told talk-show host Wayne Brady that he gets his face “sanded” from time to time, and that’s where he gets that healthy glow. . . . Budget Living Magazine asked aging rock babe Joan Jett what was the best bargain she ever got. Her answer: her two massive tattoos, which set her back a mere $400. “My tattoos are works of art that will stay on my body for the rest of my life,” the singer told the mag in its upcoming issue. “I’ll gladly pay a few hundred dollars for that. To me, that’s a bargain!”
Jeannette Walls delivers the Scoop Monday through Thursday in MSNBC Entertainment.
