With her private life and public persona firmly back on track and a successful world tour still going strong after long eight months, pop princess Britney Spears is said to be happy, healthy and ready to take her next big step — a walk down the aisle with ever-present manager-boyfriend Jason Trawick.
“Britney said she does not have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason,” one insider revealed to OK! magazine. “She has already discussed marriage with him, and they are both excited about a romantic wedding.”
Well, that mutual excitement part is where opinions differ. While a News.com.au report supports the case for the singer’s enthusiasm, it portrays Trawick as a man with no interest in hearing wedding bells any time soon.
According to the Australian publication, an impatient Spears officially proposed last week, but Trawick refused to fast track his romance with the pop star. Allegedly the matrimonial setback is a disappointment, but it isn’t the first for Spears.
“She is in love with the idea of marriage,” a source explained. “She has been married only twice, but has proposed to many more.”
Lindsay Lohan says ‘no’ to rehab, ‘yes’ to counseling
Despite her father’s so-called best efforts to get her into rehab, which for some inexplicable reason included the release of tell-all family phone calls, Lindsay Lohan has decided to get help on her own terms in the form of counseling sessions.

According the source, the mentor-like meetings not only give LiLo a sounding board, but also provide the 23-year-old with a starting point to approach bigger issues.
“She knows, and everyone knows, this is a huge stepping-stone for her — get in there, talk to someone, figure out what's going on and then try to fix it,” the source said. “First comes the diagnosis.”
Mariah Carey’s latest diva display
Singer-actress Mariah Carey stands accused of a particularly excessive diva display during a recent appearance on British television.

But it’s a different story from Camp Carey. Sort of.
“(The claims are a) clear, gross exaggeration,” a spokesperson said in a statement issued to the Daily Mail. “With regards to the ‘entourage,’ every star of Mariah’s caliber is surrounded by a working team, and Mariah doesn't actually have any more people working with her than any other major star.”
Dish on the fly
She’s only 16 months old, but Sunday Rose Urban already has big boots to fill. It’s seems Daddy, aka country music star Keith Urban, imagines his little girl following his lead. “(Sunday’s) got some pipes,” he said in a quote published in Us Weekly. “I think she sounds quite musical. I sit at the piano with her in the morning and we mash the keys together.” Aw. … Miley Cyrus didn’t need to go incognito “Hannah Montana”-style to avoid getting recognized during a recent stop at New York’s Pop Burger. According to the New York Post’s Page Six, a blissfully unaware counter manager stunned Cyrus by asking for her name to mark her order. “Are you serious? You don't recognize me? I'm Miley Cyrus,” the 17-year-old was said to reply. “That's nice for you,” the manager shot back. “Here is your order. Have a good day.”
