DALLAS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY -- The General Motors bankruptcy brings bad news to a Dallas Township car dealer. Kunkle Motors will no longer be able to sell new Saab cars by the end of this month. The auto dealer and repair shop has been a licensed Saab dealer for 52 years. Kunkle Motors is one of 81 Saab dealers that learned they're dealership rights will be terminated. It's just unbelievable that they would do something of this stature. Even us, we're small but we've been here for 52 years." Haddle says this dealership termination will cause problems for warranty repairs. The closest Saab dealer to Kunkle is Clarks Summit. But that dealership, Chermak Inc., was also notified its dealership rights were terminated last week. The next closest Saab dealership is in Bethlehem. Read more atpahomepage.com.
