A local farm we featured a few weeks ago is getting some national attention.
Our story on the future of farming included some video from a documentary on Obery Farms in Metamora.
The documentary detailed the 135 history of the family farm, which has now grown to 3-thousand acres and is on its 6th generation.
Levi Obery produced and edited the film which won a 2009 Silver Davey Award.
The International Academy of the Visual Arts honors small film makers who don't have big budgets.
Obery, a recent graduate of Bradley University, is the principal shareholder in Ten Thirty-One Pictures Entertainment based in Los Angeles.
