SHARONVILLE, Ohio - WLWT.com

Traffic was brought to a standstill due to a crash along Interstate 75 northbound.

News 5 confirmed via the Ohio Department of Transportation's Artimis camera system, that a crash near the Glendale-Milford Road exit completely blocked the roadway as rescue crews dealt with the incident. The crash happened at about 11:48 a.m. Sunday.

News 5 reporters witnessed a vehicle that was involved in the crash catch on fire.

Evendale police said that the crash involved one vehicle and one victim.

Officers said the victim was a 57-year-old woman and that she was taken to University Hospital. Medics said her injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.

People that were stuck in the traffic back-up could be seen exiting their vehicles and standing on the road to get a glimpse of the wreck.

The Aircare medical helicopter was called to the scene, and the interstate was shut down to allow the helicopter to land.

All lanes were reopened at about 3 p.m.

It is unknown how many people were injured in the crash, or what caused the incident.
