SAN ANTONIO, Texas - THEIOWACHANNEL.com
Bones found in a wooded area in San Antonio, Texas, could be those of a missing Iowan, authorities said Saturday.
Officials said children found a human skull, leg bone and vertebrae while playing in the woods behind the 8700 block of Welles Park.
Searching the woods on Saturday, police found a pair of jeans with military identification and an Iowa driver's license inside. They said the license belongs to a person reported missing from Iowa two years ago.
Authorities did not immediately release the person's name or a possible cause of death.
