Two City Council races going down to the wire

YAKIMA--Two Yakima County election races are still undecided more than a week after the deadline to turn in ballots passed.

City council races in both Selah and Sunnyside could face a recount once results are certified on November 24.

As of November 14, the Selah race is separated by five votes. John Gawlik leads Allen Schmid.

In Sunnyside, Don Vlieger leads Carol Stone by eight votes.
