MONROEVILLE, Pa. - THE PITTSBURGH CHANNEL.com
The Pittsburgh Penguins organization has forced a car dealership to pull its TV ads.
The commercial features several people wearing Max Talbot jerseys with the Penguins' logo on the front.
This is actually the third year A&L Motor Sales in Monroeville has shot Talbot-themed ads.
The team management asked the dealership to pull the ad because they didn't get permission to use the official logo.
"Obviously, they have a little bit more stake in it than we do. So, you know, we have a good relationship with the Penguins and we want to do what we could to keep that relationship going with the Penguins and the organization," said Alex de Francisco, of A&L Motor Sales.
The dealership will re-shoot the commercial without using the Penguins logo.
