Rescue Underway at Camp Penn for Fall Victim

FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA - Firefighters spent two and a half hours working to rescue a woman who fell while hiking.
Officials with the Blue Ridge Summit Volunteer Fire Company say the woman was hiking with a Girl Scout troop at Camp Penn when she fell down a steep incline onto some rocks.
Rescuers couldn't reach her using an ATV so they had to walk.
She was taken to Waynesboro Hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time. Read more atyour4state.com.
