Girl injured in I-65 crash dies, police say

Indianapolis - State police confirmed that a young girl died from injuries sustained in an accident last week.

Four-year-old Gwendolyn McCormick died Wednesday, police said. Her mother, Erin, and brother were also injured in the crash on I-65 last Friday.

Erin McCormick was treated and released from Wishard Hospital last week and the brother, Quintin, has been transferred to a hospital in the Chicago area to continue his recovery.
