OMG! A new study about texting gives teens nothing to LOL about.

Young adults much prefer texting over talking, but that habit might lead to neck and shoulder pain.

The research from Temple University included 138 college students. The study suggested that the more students texted, the more likely they were to report aches and pains in their upper body. Men may be particularly vulnerable.

This is a preliminary study. Researchers say more studies like this need to be done to see if this could lead to long-term health effects.
