A sad update to a late afternoon crash in Corbin. The man who crashed his pickup into a McDonald's restaurant has died.
Dispatchers tell us 68-year-old Clarence Hood died at the hospital. Witnesses say it looked like Hood had a medical emergency causing him to run a red light on Master Street. He then hit a pickup and a van before slamming into the corner of the McDonald's.
The driver of that second pickup, Bobby Chavis, was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The restaurant was shut down, and there's no word about how long it will be closed.
