Oldest veteran honored at San Luis Obispo Farmer's market

A special event took place for veterans at farmer's market in downtown San Luis Obispo Thursday night.

The community honored those who have served our country, including the city's oldest veteran, Temple Herron. Herron is 103 years old. He recently appeared on a Ksby segment called, "How to live to be 100."

The city's oldest female veteran was also honored. Lena Lerza is 98 and a half years old.
