GRANDVIEW--Senator Patty Murray meets with members of the Latino community to get their input on government reform.

There was lots of talk at the Grandview Senior Center Thursday afternoon on health care, crime and especially immigration reform.

Murray, however, didn't do much talking. Rather, the Senator listened as several local leaders told her they'd like to see changes to immigration laws.

She told KNDO President Obama is saying the same thing.

"We're going to have to figure our way through making sure that we have the security we need at our borders," Murray, (Democrat - Washington) said. "And that we treat people fairly and with dignity when they're here."

Murray expects Congress to tackle immigration reform in the coming year, but right now they are focused on health care reform.
