A Nebraska congressman toured one of the latest innovations in going green on Thursday.
Rep. Jeff Fortenberry visited an energy-efficient home near 64th Street and Woolworth Avenue that's known as the
.
The house features Omaha's first residential wind turbine and has a solar-powered heating and cooling system.
Fortenberry, who has sponsored several bills to promote renewable energy, toured the home with college students who helped design and build it.
The home, which is still under construction, should be complete in about a month.
