Canadian child porn suspect caught at U.S. border

BLAINE, Wash. – A Canadian man wanted in a federal child pornography investigation in the U.S. was captured by border patrol agents trying to enter the country at the Pacific Highway border crossing Wednesday.

Ronald Fleet, 56, was taken into custody after his name popped up on a felony warrant from the National Criminal Information Center.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says Fleet was wanted for alleged distribution of child pornography and attempted enticement of a minor.

Fleet was turned over to the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office for appearance in federal court.
