The Holmes County Sheriff’s Department has charged a 17-year-old in connection with a double shooting, officials said.
Malcolm Sandifer was arrested Thursday, Sheriff Willie March said. Deputies brought Sandifer from Jackson, he said.
Justin Moss, 28, was shot and killed Tuesday in the shooting on Dogpen Road outside of Durant, the sheriff said. Gage Moss, 19, was also shot, March said. His condition was not immediately known.
March said investigators believe the shootings were drug-related.
Sandifer was being held Thursday in Holmes County.
