The Grover Beach man who was wanted by police officers for two days, after allegedly kidnapping a Cal Poly student, is headed to court Thursday morning.

23-year-old Ryan Soqui is scheduled to be arraigned. He was arrested Friday night at the Gaviota Tunnel in Santa Barbara county, after being at-large for two days.

Investigators say on November 4, he approached a 23-year-old Cal Poly student and asked her for directions, but then he got into her car and pointed a gun at her. Thankfully, she was able to escape. That's when he was followed to the 5 Cities area and reportedly ran through resident's backyards, until he was thought to have barricaded himself in an Arroyo Grande home. SWAT teams were called in, but he was never found inside the house that night.
