CO Sickens 3 Burger King Employees

3 Employees Drive Themselves To Hospital

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Investigators are trying to determine what produced the carbon monoxide that sickened three workers at a Pittsfield Township Burger King restaurant early Thursday morning.

When the morning manager arrived at the fast-food restaurant on Washtenaw Avenue at 4:30 a.m., the nighttime manager and two other employees looked and felt sick.

Police said the employees drove themselves to an area hospital. There is no word on their conditions.

Firefighters have been checking out the restaurant but have not yet found the source of the carbon monoxide.
