CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The madam in the Eliot Spitzer prostitution case is harshly criticizing Harvard University for hosting the former New York Governor at an "ethics" lecture scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

Kristin Davis, the madam suspected of supplying Spitzer with clients, sent a letter of protest to Harvard and spoke to 7News about the former governor's impending appearance.

"At least with me, what you see is what you get. I served my time. I am what I am," Davis told 7News.

Spitzer resigned as Govenor of New York in 2008 amid a sex scandal, as he was caught in a federal investigation for hiring escorts while he was the attorney general and then the governor.

He is set to talk at Harvard about finance, which is an area of expertise for the former governor.

Davis said he should not be giving an ethics lecture of any sort.

"The biggest Ponzi scheme in the history of the world happened right under his nose, in his own state, so you know he can sit here and say he had this great crusader of Wall Street, he was also a crusader against prostitution but he's also the world's biggest hypocrite," Davis said.

Reaction on the Harvard campus is mixed.

"What is Harvard thinking?" asked one woman who heard about Spitzer's speech.

"His private life is one thing and his business life is another," said one student.

Davis ended her letter to Harvard saying, "Please let me know what Mr. Spitzer, a man without ethics, says."

Spitzer is scheduled to speak at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Center for Ethics.

The University had no comment on Spitzer's speech.
