DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - WESH.com
A 10-month-old baby fell out of a second-story window on Wednesday and wasn't hurt.
Fire rescuers said the window was open, with a screen in place, at the Sail Point Bay apartments on Beach Street in Daytona Beach. The mother went to the bathroom and when she came back saw the screen gone and the baby missing, rescuers said.
The woman ran out and found the child in a flower bed, which rescuers said cushioned her fall.
They advised mom to have the baby checked out just in case.
