Suspect arrested for assault with firearm

SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- Sunnyside Police and the Yakima County Violent Crimes Task Force arrest 20-year-old Ramon Verduzco in connection with an assault that happened on November 4th.

Police say just after 8pm on Nov. 4th, a victim was shot at while driving on North ave and Victory Way in Sunnyside. His car was hit twice by bullets. He was not injured.

Sunnyside Police and were able to identify the suspect as Verduzco. He arrested Monday, November 9th and taken to the Sunnyside City Jail, then transported to they Yakima County Jail Tuesday morning. He is being held on charges of assault with a firearm.
