BILLINGS - Yellowstone County Commissioner Jim Reno is off to an early start to his re-election campaign. In front of a crowd of his family and friends, Reno announced Monday that he is seeking a third term as commissioner. He has served for 11 years and helped bring projects that he says have kept the economy afloat. "We must be doing something right," Reno said. "Look at the economy locally compared to regionally and nationally. We have a diversified economy and hopefully we have played a little role in that." It will still be awhile before Reno knows whether he will be opposed, as candidates cannot file until January for next year's election.
