Two share U.K.’s largest lottery payout

LONDON - European lottery officials say two British ticketholders have shared a jackpot of 90 million pounds ($150 million) — the largest lottery prizes ever paid out in the United Kingdom.
Lottery organizer Camelot says two tickets in Friday's EuroMillions competition both won about 45.5 million pounds ($75 million) each.
"These two ticketholders have just banked the largest lottery prizes ever paid out in the country," Camelot said Saturday.
The winners have yet to come forward.
Britain's previous record win came in 2007, when a postal worker won 35 million pounds ($58 million).
In May, an unnamed Spanish winner claimed euro126 million ($187 million), the largest-ever EuroMillions jackpot.
The EuroMillions lottery is played across nine European countries.
