A 70-year-old man is missing and presumed dead after his boat capsized in the Mississippi River near Fort Jackson, Plaquemines Parish Maj. John Marie said.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a call at 3:10 p.m. Monday after two small boats capsized in the river.
The Coast Guard rescued two men from the water, and the sheriff's office rescued a third, but a fourth man was presumed drowned.
