Residents Manage to Escape Fire That Destroys House

PLEASANT HALL, PA - A house near Letterkenny Army Depot is destroyed after it caught fire Monday afternoon.
It started around 3:30 at 8159 Upper Strasburg Road in Pleasant Hall, Pennsylvania.
The homeowner tells NBC25 that she was home with her boyfriend and two sons when the fire started.
One of the owner's sons noticed smoke coming out of the computer room. When they looked inside, the room was engulfed in flames.
Everyone got out safe including the family's two dogs, but the homeowner believes two kittens were killed in the fire. She is also upset to have lost all of her belongings.
Firefighters had to evacuate the home because the flames were so bad. Read more atyour4state.com.
