The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport continued to operate Monday as Tropical Storm Ida approached the Gulf Coast.
As of 11 a.m., American Airlines was the only airline that has announced schedule changes, according to airport spokeswoman Michelle Wilcut.
All departures will operate Monday, but the early morning Tuesday departures are canceled. American's first departure on Tuesday will be at 9:50 a.m.
No other airlines have announced schedule changes and continue to monitor weather conditions, Wilcut said.
Passengers are encouraged to check with their airlines via the Web site or reservation systems prior to coming to the airport for the status of their flight.
