"Initially they hopped into a stolen vehicle, and then when they abandoned the stolen vehicle one of them attempted to hop into a cab," said Supt. William Evans, of the Boston Police Department.

A detail officer spotted the suspects trying to get into the cab and one of the men was arrested.

The other suspect is still on the run.

Police recovered the two firearms and believe they were the only weapons used in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Boston Police.
