Pizza Man Robbed During Delivery

Pizza Ordered To Be Delivered To Vacant Apartment

RICHMOND, Texas - A pizza delivery man was robbed while making delivery to a Richmond apartment, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Richmond police said someone ordered a pizza to be delivered to unit 2815 at the Mustang Crossing apartments in the 1800 block of Mustang Drive on Sunday night.

The delivery man arrived at the apartment complex and saw two men go inside the unit. Police said the delivery man knocked on the door and one of the men answered, pushed him to the ground and assaulted him.

Investigators said the other man took the delivery man's wallet and about $45 cash.

The delivery man drove back to the store where he works and called police. The attackers ran away.

The men were described as black and were last seen wearing black pants, black long-sleeved shirts and black hats or do-rags.

Detectives said apartment management told them unit 2815 is vacant.
