The unidentified remains of the victims of Flight 3407, the plane that crashed in Clarence Center on February 12, were entombed in two caskets Sunday morning at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo. "Today really brings the reality that, yes, it did happen," says Papa Michigan, who lost several cousins on the flight. Family members attended a private service. Afterward, many of them made statements to the media to commemorate their relatives and to show their determination in making changes to the amount of required hours pilots need to fly. "It's a way to say goodbye and a way to say, 'Here we come, Senate and President Obama," says Robin Tolsma, who lost her husband in the crash. "And FAA, you better, better step up to the plate here so this doesn't happen again." "We don't want to see anybody else ever, ever again have to deal with what we've gone through," says Marty Agius, whose brother-in-law, Kevin Johnston, was killed on-board. Many relatives reflected on the milestones the crash victims have missed, and will continue to miss. "Her dad will not walk her down the aisle or hold her children," says Chris Kausner, whose sister Ellie died on-board. "We will cherish our memories, but it is not enough." "You were supposed to be at Susan's house, sitting on the deck, sharing ice cream and cake for your traditional double-birthday party with me," says one of Beverly Eckert's sisters. "Instead, we buried you that day." "We have suffered a great loss," says Rebecca Gonzalez, the sister of victim Ronald Gonzalez. "And the world will have missed out on the good people that were aboard flight 3407." "Life will never be the same," says Justine Krasuski, whose husband Jerry was killed. "If we get over this, it'll be a miracle." "Even though our hearts are broken, Lauren, and you're no longer physically with us today, please know that we miss you every minute, every second, of every day," says Scott Maurer, whose daughter Lauren died in the crash.
