Car accident in Richland kills teen

Troopers say 16-year-old Joevani Olivera died at the scene earlier today when the car he was in hit and rolled over the I-182 bridge near the Yakima River.

Olivera was a passenger of a Honda Accord driven by 20 year-old Terry Olivera.
Troopers say their car was heading east on 182 when it changed lanes and hit another car. The crash sent Olivera's Honda into the concrete barrier. It then rolled over the concrete wall and fell over the bridge killing the teen.

There were three other people in the car, all are injured and were transported to Kadlec Medical Center. Two people were in the second car but were not injured.
