Motocyclist Dies After Hitting Parked Pickup

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - A 36-year-old man died Saturday when his motorcycle hit a parked pickup truck in North Canton.

The man was riding his 2006 motorcycle with a passenger just before 6 p.m. in the 300 block of Lindy Lane NW when he hit the truck.

The man was transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A female passenger on the motorcycle was injured and transported to Aultman Hospital.

The police department is not currently releasing the names until all family members have had a chance to be notified.

The accident is still under investigation by the North Canton Police Department.
