Body Found Dumped near Little Rock Interstate

Little Rock Detectives spent their Sunday morning trying to figure out why a body was dumped on the side of the highway.

Just before 7 oclock, police got a call that a passerby found a body in the weeds next to the river along the bridge on I-430 and River Mountain Road.

Police are still trying to identify the man and determine the cause of the death.

They believe he was killed somewhere else and then dumped.

Lt. Terry Hastings with LRPD said the body had lots of trauma to it.
