Arkansans who're interested in recording podcasts or like to make short movies have a chance to apply their creativity and celebrate Arkansas history at the same time.
The Old State House in Little Rock is sponsoring an Arkansas History Webcast Competition.
Participants can enter original, short, non-fiction video or audio webcasts about Arkansas history.
The competition will feature two age categories for entrants: students in grades 512, and adults ages 18 up.
Awards will be presented and entries will be featured at a special event on February 4.
Prizes include myspace page-building services provided by Aristotle Interactive and cash awards.
Entries will be accepted through January 4.
