Worker Injured In Rumpke Landfill Incident
Victim Pinned By Dump Truck For 21 Minutes

A man is in serious condition at a hospital after an industrial incident at the Rumpke landfill.
Hamilton County deputies said the incident occurred at about 11:16 a.m. at the landfill in the 3700 block of Struble Road.
Investigators aid a private contractor was dumping roofing debris from the back of his dump truck when a portion of the truck became stuff.
A 47-year-old man crawled between the truck bed and the frame to fix the problem.
The dump truck broke free and came down on the man, pinning him between the cap and the truck.
Rescue crews said the man was trapped for about 21 minutes before they were able to extricate him.
He was flown to University Hospital and is in serious condition.
